Of repressed emotions

Blood and tears
Shed in desperation
At an empty life
Broken dreams
Hate and sorrow

Turned upon myself
Instead of them
The crowds of faceless people
Watching me fall
Into the black hole of emptiness
That I created for myself
Hearing me scream for help
That I can't accept
That I won't let in
They don't feel my pain
My urgent need

As they turn away
